With a view to enabling on line transactions, cyber laws will be framed by each Department of the State Government in exercise of powers under section 90 of the IT Act. These would include provision for e-payments and digital signatures. Proposals for State Amendments to Central Acts will also be moved to facilitate e-Justice, e-Medicine and the use of Video-conferencing for meetings of Statutory bodies or interviews, or for on line examinations etc. This will be done by 2003.
