Connectivity in all villages and towns would be ensured through wireless solutions connecting 'CHOiCE Centres'. 'CHOiCE' is the acronym for CHhattisgarh Online information system for Citizen Empowerment. Equally, CHOiCE stands for the choice available to citizens to avail services from public offices with care, courtesy and utmost ease. CHOiCE centres will provide a wide range of services including connectivity, information, IT education, e-governance and e-commerce. Government would enter into MoU's / Agreements with private entrepreneurs to establish such Centres. Commercial loans or even State-sponsored bank loans would also be tapped for setting up these Centres.



All websites of State & Local Government will be linked to create a comprehensive State portal. This will be an interactive portal for all kinds of Government Citizen (G2C) transactions. The State Government would be providing all citizens with multi-purpose Smart cards for various G2C applications. These would be open for use in e-commerce applications by private service providers. Video-conferencing would provide seamless access to people living in remote areas.
